A Passport must be valid for not less than six months of its expiry date with at least 3 blank pages

Applicant must provide two passport size photo in color or a photo can be taken at a visa application center of France
-Flight booking
-An applicant must provide an intended flight booking and not confirm a flight booking until a visa is out
-Hotel booking
A hotel booking must show an applicant’s full names, hotel address, phone number and email address
If traveling to more than one member state of EU or Schengen state you must also provide another hotel booking
-Letter confirming Employment
-A letter from the employer confirming your designation, leave dates approved and return on duty from holidays
-If self-employment the applicant must provide a business certificate or letter of employment from your accountant
-Bank Statement
-An applicant must provide a latest 3 months’ bank statement
-Your three months bank statement showing the amount available reflecting your names and address that is stamped by bank
-Letter confirming employment
A letter from an employer confirming your designation, leave dates approved and the dates of your return to duty from the holidays
If self-employed a applicant’s business certificates or letter from your accountant
-Copy of vaccination certificate for covid 19
A Vaccination certificate within 14 days for visa application
-Traveling Insurance
Insurance must be valid for member states of EU or Schengen States
Minimum cover for 30000 Euro
Passport number, policy number minimum of 30 000 Euro and cover for the duration of stay
-Traveling with a minor or student
A signed letter from the school confirming enrollment dates of departures and return from the holidays
With a stamp
If a minor is under 18 years the applicant must provide an unabridged birth certificate
And a consent letter from one of the parents
Certified copies of ID of both parents
No need for those documents if traveling with both parents

Invitation Letter
An applicant must provide an official invitation letter from France with full details and the purpose of the trip stamped by the inviter.
The invitation letter must also include the contacts information of an inviter and must be signed by them
The letter must also specify who will be responsible for the trip
A letter must be directed to the French consulate and written in French
