An intended flight itinerary don’t confirm a flight booking until a visa is out
Provide a full itinerary day to day from date of departure to date of return, recording all city visits, transportation from city to city train tickets/car rental/flight/ferries/busses, and so on.
-Copies of the return booking without confirmation from South Africa as well as entry into /out of Austria or any other Schengen state countries must be provided with the name of applicants clearly reflected on the booking confirmation. Please provide proof of all other transportation train tickets/car rental/flights/ferries/bus and so on.
The embassy requires proof of movement details while in Schengen territories

-Hotel Accommodation
Proof of hotel for each night out of South Africa
Hotel accommodation must reflect reservation number, traveler’s full name, arrival and departure and full address and contact details of a hotel/holiday home
Should the travele’s name not appear on the accommodation confirmation,a letter confirming the applicant
Will be staying with the person whose name is not the booking confirmation is required
As well as a copy of this person’s ID/Passport

Sworn affidavit invitation(must be certified by the police) confirming names,date and accommodation address. Copy of hosts passport/ID
-Cruising
Full itinerary details from the cruise company along with proof of payment of the cruise.
Yacht /Sailing; letter from sailing company skipper with itinerary for each day and details of the applicant traveling for vacation, Certified Yacht registration and copy of the passport of the skipper
Business visa
-Invitation letter from Austria
Official invitation letter from the inviting company in Austria on the company letterhead reflecting full details and purpose of the trip stamped by an official authority in Austria.

Full contact information of the host company and must be signed by the host.The invitation must clearly state who will be covering the cost of the trip
If attending a conference or fair,proof of registration with the organizer is required.
*Cultural/Sports/Religious events
Official invitation letter by the event organizer, reflecting full details and purpose of the trip
Enrollment/Entry tickets/Event program plus official letter of the institution sending the applicant
*Official letter from school confirming attendance
Official letter from college/University confirming attendance or copy of student card.
Letter from parents, confirming that they support the student financially plus proof of same certified copies of parents’ ID/or passports

If an applicant is receiving financial support, they require a certificate of sponsorship letter confirming what part of the trip this person will be paying for, as well as a certified copy of the sponsor’s passport.
